Joint Post for Central Jakarta Election 2024 Officially Opened

The Central Jakarta administration, opened an Election Joint Post in the Large Multipurpose Room, Block A Building, ground floor of the mayor's office, Tuesday (1/9).

To create smooth and peaceful elections

The post was opened online simultaneously in four cities and the Seribu Islands Regency by the City Secretary's Government Assistant, Sigit Wijatmoko.

Central Jakarta Deputy Mayor, Chaidir said the post could later be used as a place for socialization and monitoring of implementation, inventory, and resolution of problems related to elections.

"Our task collectively, community leaders, election organizers, elements of political parties, winning teams, and elements of regional government, is to create smooth and peaceful elections," he expressed.

Hopefully, all components of society could maintain harmonious elections in a bid to create a sense of conducive atmosphere in Central Jakarta.

Central Jakarta National Unity and Political Agency Head, Rachmat Hidayat furthered the joint post will officially operate from January 9 to February 29, 2024. Operationally, it will remain open even on weekends and public holidays.

His party had made a schedule for distributing the tasks of guarding the posts on a rotating basis, assisted by the Forkopimko (City Leadership Coordination Forum). This post operates from 8 AM to 4 PM every day, including weekends and holidays.

"We were also accompanied by leadership elements from the Kodim, Police and District Attorney's Office," he stated.
